FAQs

  1. What is Solidarity’s Mortgagee Clause?
    Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union
    ISAOA/ATIMA
    PO Box 3584
    Coppell, TX 75019
  2. I had an insurance claim on my property. What should I do?
Bring your insurance check(s) and detailed statement from the insurance adjuster to the
mortgage department and ask to speak with servicing.
  3. I switched my homeowner’s insurance, what should I do?
When switching homeowner’s insurance, it’s important to make sure the new insurance
provider adds Solidarity’s Mortgagee Clause to the policy, so they will know to send us
the bill. The mortgagee clause is outlined above. Bring in your new policy information, and refund check from your previous insurance company to the mortgage department and
    ask to speak with servicing.
  4. When are my property taxes due in Indiana? I do not escrow.
Property taxes in Indiana are due in May and November. You can contact the Treasurer’s
Office of your county for more information on how-to obtain your bill.
  5. Why did I get a bill for my property taxes when I escrow?
The county is required to send everyone a copy of their tax bill each year. The tax bill
may say something like, “This is not a bill” or “If escrowed, disregard”.
  6. Can I drop my PMI?
When a loan is at 80% LTV, a member can request to have their loan evaluated to
potentially drop PMI. This request needs to be submitted, in writing, before a servicer can
look into the account further. As always, if you are unsure of your LTV, please contact
one of our servicers below and they will be glad to assist you.
  7. Can I add someone to my deed?
Yes! But, not at Solidarity. Please contact the county recorders office of your county for
    more information.
  8. Can I add someone to my mortgage?
No, you must fill out an application and refinance to add someone to your mortgage.
Please reach out to one of our loan originators or fill out the mortgage application online.
  9. What happens when I pay off my mortgage?
Solidarity will record a satisfaction of mortgage with the county in which your residence
is located. This will release Solidarity’s lean off of the property. Solidarity will mail you a
payoff confirmation letter, letting you know that the loan has been paid in full. You are
now responsible for your own homeowner’s insurance and property taxes.
